First impression of the rack on the back of the Honda I think it looks pretty good. Actually it's really simple and easy to use and this could be a great way to get a bunch of bikes to and from the trail. So this one can hold up to a total of four, but if you need to carry an additional one there's a five bike version of this rack available as well. So you got a couple options there. So not only is it gonna help with loading and unloading it's gonna help with kids bikes 'cause sometimes when it's spaced out like this on hang-style bike racks you have to get a bike adapter bar to make it work. Now the Honda Pilot is a great third row SUV and chances are, if you have a third row SUV, you have little kiddos that sit in those seats. So if you are a bike riding family, or just wanna take your bikes on the trail, or at the park occasionally, sometimes it's hard to transfer all of the bikes. Well that's where this one comes into play, allowing you to have up to four bikes, but also this nice tapered design is gonna make it a lot easier to put those kiddos bikes on the back here. more

Now, I think the Curt Premium does a lot of things greatly, and the biggest thing for me, it is primarily a family-oriented bike rack. What I mean by that is you can look, we do have these dual arm support systems. Now, normally with these hanging styles, you start running into problems with step-through bikes, women bikes, and especially kiddos' bikes as a lot of times, their horizontal bar actually can't accommodate to the bike rack's needs, so we end up having to buy a bike adapter bar. more

Now this can be a great lightweight option of getting some bikes to the Trailhead. Now, obviously the Sherpa does look pretty good on the back end here. You're getting those nice copper orange accents on the gunmetal gray, but it doesn't stop there. It is gonna be yes, looking good, but also doing a great job of holding your bikes up on here. With a 40 pound capacity per bike, we're gonna have no trouble at all, getting most of our standards to mountain bikes up on this guy. more

Now, this guy is definitely gonna be one of your more premium bike rack carriers, right out of the gate, I think it starts speaking for itself, of course, to its own style. You're gonna get a nice gunmetal gray with some nice copper orange accents on here, and it is a pretty minimalistic design. The platform itself, not too much going on it, just a couple of straps to actually hold onto our back tires. Of course, gonna stay nice and sleek on the rear of our vehicle. Now, guys, it can be a very nice decent way of getting yourself started to get your bikes wherever you wanna go. What's great about the XC2, not gonna be too expensive, so it's not gonna be breaking the bank, however, you're still getting a nice stable platform to actually get your bikes to where you wanna go, 'cause that's the name of the game, right When we get there, we wanna get there safe and with our bikes in working order, and that's what we're gonna get with this guy. You are seeing frame mount holds on here though. So this is gonna kind of eliminate you from carrying your carbon frame bikes. If that's something you really wanna look forward to, you are probably gonna have to start getting into more expensive bike racks, more higher end options. more

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp 2-bike platform rack for your electric bikes here on our 2017 Honda CR-V. So what's awesome about this guy, you're definitely gonna get a great weight capacity rating, with 66 pounds it's really starting to set itself ahead of that standard 60 pounds that you're kind of limited to on most of your carrier units. So this is gonna be great for these e-bikes right, because already they're already pushing that 60 pounds. Now we definitely know they're getting up there, they're pushing that 65, and luckily for us, we're gonna have a way of actually starting to transport it safely and effectively. So again, with that 66 pound limit, that's gonna be excellent. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Honda Accord- Video
Hey everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Thule hitching post pro here today on our 2012 Honda Accord. Now guys, this can be a decent little way of giving yourself a bike rack carrier to get your bikes to and pro. However, we do have a caveat right out of the gate. We are working on the class one hitch today, which means we're gonna be limited on the number of bikes we can throw up on here. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Honda CR-V- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And, today I'm taking a look at the Swagman XC2 platform-style bike rack for two bikes, on a 2014 Honda CR-V. Now, this bike rack is a very minimalistic bike rack. Not a ton of frills, but it is platform-style, and it does have a frame mount that secures the bike. So, as you can see, for not having a whole lot of hardware on here, it does a really good job of holding that onto the vehicle. So, taking a closer look, we can see this hoop style, and that's gonna have any tire that's up to 2 1/2 inches to be able to sit in here. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Honda CR-V- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination, which is a platform style bike rack. It's also hitch-mounted, as you can tell. And, today it's on a 2014 Honda CRV. So, this is a great bike option for anyone that has four bikes, whether it be family members or friends, that all wanna ride together, you can take them all there, and not have to worry about your bikes falling off, making contact, or being damaged in the process of transporting them. So, this bike rack is gonna be good for a big variety of vehicles. The only bike that you might not wanna use this for, would be an e-bike, due to its weight. more

Hey, everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Honda Passport, we're gonna be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro hitch mounted bike rack. So first impression of the rack on the back of the Passport, I think it looks really good, actually. You know, these Thule's have a very simple design, and so they really do go with just about any vehicle, whether it's a Passport or anything else for that matter. Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Honda Fit- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're looking at the Swagman XC2 Platform-style Bike Rack, on a 2018 Honda Fit. Platform-style bike rack is great for a smaller car like this. Sometimes on your hanging rack, you're gonna see the tires stick out wider than the vehicle, so that air is gonna kind of act as a sail on it. So having the platform-style really gives you that sense of security, keeps you from having to look in your rear view mirror to make sure that your bike's still attached safely. This is a frame mount style bike rack, and as you can see, it's got a nice rubberized coating on the frame. So it's not exactly one you wanna use on a carbon fiber frame, because it might cause distortion, but pretty much for any other style of frame, this is gonna work well, and you're gonna be able to adjust that as necessary. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Honda Fit- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're going to take a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Platform Bike Rack for two bikes on a 2018 Honda Fit. This platform-style bike rack is frame mounted, so you can see here, it attaches to the frame. And that's been done by this little pad here, which has a nice rubber pad, which is gonna prevent your frame from being scratched. And that's something when you have your bike attached, you always wonder as it's moving around that hopefully it's not scuffing that paint stickers or whatever it may be, and this is gonna help prevent that. Something else that's really nice is your ability to rotate this 360 degrees. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Honda Accord- Video
Hello, everybody Clayton here at Etrailer. Today, we're going to be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro Four Bike Hanging-style Rack on our 2021 Honda Accord. Now our rack can carry up to four bikes, but since we only have a class-one hitch we're going to be very limited to two bikes. So you do want to keep that in mind, but since this does work with two inch hitches as well, if you do have another vehicle with a hitch, you can throw the adapter on and it'll work just fine with your other vehicle. And you can probably get four bikes on it. Like I said, it is going to work with inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube openings. more
